Who we are

iTransact Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 04345687, with our registered office at 26a Russell Court, Cambridge CB2 1HW.

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, company name and your message. We use them only to respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you about it.

Email and telephone. If you email or call us, we use the details you give us in the same way.

Technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

3 — Lawful basis

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and in running our business. Where your enquiry concerns a service you may want from us, we also process it to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Technical information is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website.

4 — Who we share it with

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information or share it for marketing. We use two service providers, who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

Microsoft — contact form messages are delivered to, and stored in, our Microsoft 365 email system.

Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and processes the technical information described above, and contact form submissions in transit.

Some of this processing may take place outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

5 — How long we keep it

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for no longer than two years after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep your information for as long as our relationship and our legal obligations require.

Technical information is kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.

6 — Your rights

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to have it transferred to another organisation. These rights apply in certain circumstances and may be subject to exceptions.

To exercise any of them, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
